This weeks Before and After.

I love doing before and afters. Giving equipment a lobotomy is always fun. In this case, a Panasonic door phone was in need of some TLC.

This repair included a powder coated gooseneck. All 6061 aluminum tubing. Slab replacement and conduit rough in. No more exposed mess. Raised slab eliminates issues with landscaping.

Feb is here already…………

January went by pretty fast. We have been in the weeds since before Christmas. We usually take the time off during Christmas and New Years but that didn’t happen. We even had an extra hand helping out.

I was looking at some old entries and this installation that I was looking last week came to mind. At this customer there are phone issues from the telephone entry. Below is the junction box I found.

Interior rated CAT5 wires spliced using nothing and being insulated with a short section of stripped off CAT5 insulation. They had twisted it and then jammed it againt the side of the j-box to keep the insulation tube from sliding off.

Good stuff.

Have great February.
